My first book ended at a total of two hundred and four pages. I think it went very well. Tonight, I reached the fiftieth page of the sequel! And it's going even better!
Nice! My stuff is . . . well, I've got one chapter sort of done, I'm still editing the hell out of it . . . actually, I've been doing that for months . . . :p
My biggest pride and joy is a fanfic. I have some other books of my very own on the go, but none of them are going well. I always get stuck on the first chapter and then start a new one, hoping it will be better...But it never is. Actually, I wanted to publish my fanfic, but then I researched it and apparently that wouldn't go so well with the original creators of the franchise. So, I'll happily settle for printing it at home.
My Archie Comics stories were reported as being a violation of FanFiction.Net, so I removed them. The site didn't remove my stories or even send me a message about it, so maybe the site itself doesn't really care, but I felt guilty. Is that the case with your story, that FFN says it doesn't want stories from that series?
This may appear to be a very late comment, but I've been trying for two weeks to post comments here. Sometimes this chat window turns into a "this page cannot be displayed" sticker; other times it lets me type up a comment and click "post" before it refreshes the page and my comment's gone. This is my third attempt for this comment; if it doesn't sound as cheerful as it should, it's because I'm sick of re-typing this. :p
I didn't try to post this one to FFN, though I am debating it. I have taken a lot of pride (and put a lot of work) into this attempt, so I don't want to lose it; yet, at the same time, I don't want anyone to claim it as theirs. I might just print it and keep it at home.
Wow! I'm sorry, that sucks...I've never really heard of Blogger being so glitchy! Can you report it? :O
