Sweet With Cheat!

Okay, that was so cool! I was playing Life Stories just now, again; and I wanted to look up how to speed up my Sim's pregnancy. I had seen a cheat earlier this week where I could choose the hour, but I found something so much better. It said to type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and play the pregnant Sim, and then get the Tombstone Of L And D and then find Speed Up My Pregnancy. And in less than five minutes (of real time, not game time), she had her baby!
It was awesome. I'm so doing that from now on. Especially in Sims 2, where my Sim can have seven children...Eight, if I force twins on the seventh kid, and that doesn't even include her husband!
Just imagine, ten Sims running around...This is going to be fun!!!

  1. Does the "L" and "D" stand for something? I can't even remember how long it takes to have a baby in that game :p

Watch out for glitches, they suck :(

    1. The Tombstone Of Life And Death. And an actual Sim pregnancy without cheats takes three days, not including the time between a Sim getting pregnant and the first baby bump. On my last Sim's pregnancy, which was ironically the same Sim I used to discover the cheat, I just sped through the entire pregnancy on the top speed for three days straight. It was monotonously boring for me.
Glitches are horrid...But I only have had them with carpools so far, or when a Sim can't do a certain interaction. When that happens I just exit without saving, or try ResetSim, which helps in a lot of situations. One of my Sims actually lives in a house where the ceiling is too low, so she can't get to bedroom from downstairs, or from downstairs to the bedroom, unless I pick her up and plop her down where I want her. So I might just move her out of that house.

    2. Ohh, I don't think I knew about that tombstone! You're sure discovering a lot about Life Stories! :) I've ultra-sped through the pregnancies, too, that's the super-boring part . . .

I wonder if Reset Sim would work on Sims 3 . . . ? The game crashes a lot now :( I love the game, and I hate, hate, HATE losing all my progress! I've had this current game for over a year, so if I have to reinstall, I'll lose tons and tons of 'work' :(

I hope that works for you, though, moving that Sim out; one of my Sims got pregnant and the game glitched so that her arms were stuck in the position of holding her baby, even when she wasn't anywhere near him . . . and she'd constantly sit up in bed, doing that position, it freaked me out a bit :p Ended up deleting the family, unfortunately . . .

    3. I know what you mean. I've had Sims sitting on air, or when they were getting up they would bend their legs before walking away. Sometimes when one Sim gives another a massage, they aren't even close to one another and the arms of the masseuse/masseur are behind him/her, while the recipient carries on through the action, sometimes as faraway as across the room.
With that tombstone, you can also change the first name of your Sims, get babies and toddlers without pregnancy, and there are even more things it does that I can't even think of right now (namely because I haven't slept well, and not at all overnight, but I've only got two hours and forty minutes before waking up, so I figure why bother, when I could be talking to you?). I've gone crazy with princes and princesses; changing their first name to King This and Queen That before they die, to make it seem like they had their coronations. It's awesome. :D
I have also had my game for over a year. Some families I haven't even played since 2013, so I finally deleted them because my neighborhood was so horrifically full that nobody could move out. I had to make room.
I remember this one Sim I had. One of my first. She was getting up there in days, and one night on the couch she woke up screaming! I damn near peed myself...

    4. That's so creepy! I think I'd be scared, too; I've never seen a Sim do that! o.o

That's really cool, though, I never thought to have royal Sims . . . I think we used to pretend when we played Sims 2 Deluxe together though . . . :D

    5. Well, in the Sims 2, there are two different types of crowns; plus beautiful dresses for Everyday wear. I have made prince and princess Sims before, but it didn't really go anywhere until I learned how to change their names. I probably should be out of my royalty phase, but I guess I'll like what I like.
My Sims have never before woken up screaming, nor have they since. I guess some things only do happen once. Unfortunately.

    6. . . . I don't see anything wrong with having a 'royalty phase' as long as it isn't too extreme, such as someone who has to buy all the magazines featuring the queen or members of her family, or someone who walks around all dressed up and insisting that everyone does everything for him/her. But I think just making princesses and so on in the Sims games (or, like me, collecting Disney movies, hehe) is okay :D

Maybe you should ask EA on Facebook about it, like you did with your recent glitch? Maybe you have some special copy and they're just waiting for someone to ask? (That would be so cool.) :D

    7. My main book characters are also royal...But they're human. They're not royal cats like Sagwa, or princess ponies like in that ridiculous game on Facebook. That is overdoing it. I mean if you think it's hygienic to lick yourself below the belt, you're not a respectable being. Yeesh.
I don't think it's a special copy. I think it was a once-in-a-lifetime fluke. But I guess I should ask around; maybe it's happened to someone else. :)
