Spring Cleaning...I Thought

Agh. Here I was, ready to delete my beloved Sims games, hoping to make more room on my hard drive for my Petz 5. You know how much space my Sims take up? Three GB. You know how much space my Petz take up? Almost ten thousand. God, I'm glad I checked first. I think Petz has to go; which really sucks, because I love my little Fawn. And my cute little Patch...I think I'll speed my computer date ahead, mate them, speed my computer date ahead, and take pictures of their offspring and then delete it. I just want to see what a Calico Shorthair and a Russian Tabby can create.

  1. Aww :(

But I really don't think P5 takes up 10,000 GB - if it did, my computer would've said "F this" and died as soon as I put the disc in. You can't save any writing on that thing without it giving you flashy "memory issue" error messages, so I don't think it would accept a multithousand-GB game . . .

    1. Well, it's too late anyway. All gone. I might reinstall, but I don't even miss it as much as I thought I would. I guess because my next Calico or Russian Blue or Tabby or B+W Shorthair or whatever else I might adopt will, in the long run, be exactly the same as they were before.

    2. Too bad . . .

I adopted a Maine Coon yesterday . . . he's SO cute! He's got such a tiny little face! :) I'm going to see if I can get him and my Orange Tabby to fall in love and have weird little babies!

    3. Aww! :D
It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Of course I miss my sweet little Fawn, even though when she reached adulthood she was really mean to my other cats. O_O Anyway, I have her picture online, and other games to play, so I'm not suffering too badly. :D I'm just glad I finally got to play it again, after all those years. I don't need to now. :)

    4. I have a great dog, but I adopted a (cat) companion for him, and she was really sweet! Unfortunately, I couldn't give her ANY attention without him growling/barking at her (sending her all over the room, mewing in fright) and glaring at me and showing me his butt. So I now I give him solo attention and I've gotten my cat another friend to play with . . . I'm still thinking of giving my dog a friend, but considering how he treated the last one, I'm still just considering it :p

    5. Some dogs and cats just aren't meant to mix. I had dogs and cats who were closer to the opposite species than they were to their own.
Ah, yes, the mooning! My cats hadn't done that to me this time around. Good thing, too, because I hate it when they do that. :)

    6. So do I, but I started using the water spray bottle on my Petz (never done that before) because they wouldn't stop howling/barking/growling/chasing each other . . . :(

    7. lol, sorry about the spacing on that comment, Blogger auto-aligns text and it looks terrible :p

    8. That, and I always align my blogs because when it's unaligned I think it looks sloppy. I don't think the comments would be aligned if my blog wasn't.

    9. Oh, is that how it happens? I comment on other blogs sometimes, and the comments don't auto-align. I was wondering why yours always looked so tidy . . . well, I knew why but not that the alignment of the blog content affects comments.

I've learned more since leaving school than I did while IN school. Doesn't that figure? :p

    10. Not really. I was like that. I think Lorne was, too. He speaks of how many times he was absent - like skipping school with the principal to go to a concert with him - and how he learned so much from watching the Discovery channel and using Google...
I sometimes think we don't learn what we're supposed to, because there's so much pressure to learn it. And then when you stop trying so hard, some of the stress goes away and it just happens.

    11. It's silly that he got straight A's one year when he didn't even attend . . . ticks me off that I had to work as hard as I did just to get "C" grades . . .

You said that perfectly. I've learned a lot about computers in the last few years . . . some highly useful tricks for wannabe-writers :) If I'd known them while I had schoolwork to do, though, I'd have had more fun, been more distracted, and all that :p

    12. Ticks me off, too. I remember being the most studious in my class, and getting a straight F report card. (Teacher could go F, hah!)
Well, cool! Maybe you could share a tip or two with me? :) I'm definitely a wannabe; and I have hardly any distractions.

    13. I'll e-mail you; I tend to ramble and this site has a word-count limit for comments. I've had to shorten mine quite a few times . . .

School can be so difficult. I remember struggling with trigonometry and maps, while you struggled with the Periodic Table of Elements.

Did I tell you about the big mess the school tried to make of my last year?

    14. Probably, but you can tell me again if you want. :) I still struggle with that darn table. Namely because I haven't gone back to it, I suppose. I can do addition and subtraction just fine, but I still struggle with everything else, although I am improving.
OOH, GOODIE! An email!! Off to check my inbox now. :D
