A Good Day's Flaw

Well, today has been wonderful. We went shopping for food and tonight, we had Black Forest ham cooked right inside pineapple sauce, pineapples included; and Herb And Butter instant potatoes. There's still leftovers, and I'm ready.
And in the store, I found the movie I've wanted to own since January. Yep, you guessed it; Tangled. Except I was three itty-bitty dollars short! My mother offered to pay those three bucks, and I said no, I couldn't buy a thirty-dollar movie when I was trying to save for a better graphic card. And homeward we went. And now I find that the site that lets me watch it for free has deleted EVERYTHING. I kept saying it would happen, and I wasn't even prepared. And I actually have a movie snack right in front of me.
Thankfully I'm not totally without now; I do have other hobbies or favorite movies. I want to practice Canon some more, and maybe then I'll watch a movie or write my book...Ah, what is one to do, when one's chores are completed? I can't even do computer gaming for longer than an hour (brother says) until I get a graphic card that can handle NFSW. Right now it starts screaming an hour or so after playing, and that's when the graphics are on low. On high, I can't even enjoy the game anymore...I thought spending all that money would get me a good computer. But, I suppose I'll have to invest, and build my dream PC myself.
PS. Here's an educative footnote. Another word for flaw is foible.

  1. Tangled? Really? I had thought that when I recommended that one, you didn't like it...or maybe that was something else...oh well. I love that movie! Have you seen "Brave" or "Frozen"? In Brave, everyone's got a 'Shrek' accent, and Merida is really cool; I love all that long, wild hair! (I hate the minute-long crying scene, but it's a fantastic, funny movie anyway!) There's a crying scene in Frozen, too, but it's so awesomely sad and happy that I was crying along with it, and it's such a beautifully animated movie! For once, it's a Disney story where true love saves the day, but it's between sisters, not a man and woman (it's not romantic love, just family love). There's also a lot of singing, even more than in Tangled, but the animation and characters make it worth it. I could recommend another hundred amazing movies to you; I've seen at least a thousand since moving in with G.!

  2. Tangled! Really! I own it now. For eight days and fourteen hours (or whatever; I'm exhausted). But I'm still using the site to watch it; I'm keeping my copy all wrapped up for whatever reason. I don't know either, to be honest!

  3. Oh, sorry, here's the rest of my answer...Yes, I have seen Brave; in fact I watched it on either the 7th or 8th. I adore the Scottish accent. I do like Merida, but I do think the animation could be better. For instance, when the clans are shooting arrows for her hand, and she begins firing arrows for herself; her hand looks like it's made of liquid. Her nose and mouth are too close together; but those apply to each character. Especially the potion-brewer.
I have also seen Frozen. Until I watched the entire thing, I thought Anna and Kristoff were married before they bumped into Olaf. Watching the entire thing (excluding the musicals) I was actually surprised at how it really was. To be honest, once you get past all the singing, Disney's really not that bad. (Don't tell a single soul I said that, lol)
