Feeling kind of yucky tonight. Actually, for the past five days or so. Symptom Checker relates how I feel to a stomach flu called gastroenteritis; and the symptoms are extremely yucky. I have shyt to do, especially tomorrow, but I'd rather throw up and take Tylenol.

Yikes, sorry to hear you're doing so badly :(
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel a lot better very soon!
Thanks. I hope so, too. But, it seems to be persistent - just when I think I'm better, it comes back with a vengeance.
DeleteAw, that sucks! Keep your energy up however you can; maybe a lot of sleep would help? :)
DeleteI have been sleeping more; as it turns out I can relax a lot better on the couch. I can sleep at night, take naps, and improve my schedule all at the same time. I didn't think I was capable of sleeping this much.
DeleteWell ... that's good, right? :)
DeleteVery. But last night Mom told me of a spider on the couch that had escaped the swatter, so I slept in my own bed...It's just not as good.
Deletelol, yeah - G. killed one over the TV last night :s
Delete(I spotted it, though) :p
Blech! Aren't spiders disgusting? I hate them...I wish I could banish them and have them obey, like in cartoon-land.
DeleteIf I could just keep them out of the apartment, I'd be happy; they can have all the outside they want, I just want them to stay out of my space! :p
DeleteYes, but I have a penchant for spotting every spider web out there, and still almost walking into them. Spiders also love me, for some reason. They like creeping me out and they like my blood. This one time I saw a spider on the opposite back window of the car, and I knew that the minute I got out he would make a web from his window right onto my water bottle, and that's exactly what he did. I swear, they're out to get me.
DeleteEew! :s Yuck! :(
DeleteI hate them ... I hate going to sleep knowing one is in the room because I'm afraid it'll get into my ears or mouth, or make a big web I go through when I move. Yick.
I think they like light; why else would they come near me when I'm the only one here/awake? (I prefer that, though, to thinking the ones I can see are just a small portion of those in here with me.) :p
That's why I hate them, too. Lorne said I once had a fly on my mouth while I was sleeping...I brushed my lips with Colgate.
DeleteIs that why it landed there, or did you put the toothpaste on to trap them?
DeleteSorry, bit confused tonight, wasn't sleeping so well lately, then today I got almost 11 hours in bed, very sore back for a while; that beds hurts. :p
Neither; I brushed my lips because he had already been there. I was grossed out.
DeleteOh, now I get it! lol, I'm so slow :p
DeleteLately I have been sleeping very well. I mean, it's surprising. I fall asleep fast every time. It's not enough sleep, but it's sleep. I'll take it.
DeleteAny improvement is good!
DeleteI've been having nightmares - crazy, scary ones, but at least I'm sleeping; before that it was insomnia! :p
Tell me about it. One of my weirdest dreams was when I could change my body shape and outfit whenever I wanted. Or when I jumped off the Ptarmigan 2 deck and started flying around town. I'll take weird as sh** over scary any day.
DeleteSometimes the weird dreams are the best! I've been having those lately, too ... maybe I'm eating something weird that does it to me :p
DeleteI've had dreams repeat themselves, or pick up where they left off. I've turned into animals, controlled animals or vehicles with my mind. But I think one of my favorite dreams is when I'm Amy Farrah Fowler, sitting on the couch with Sheldon. I love that dream.
DeleteMost of the time, though, I dream of you. And unfortunately, you get hurt a lot. In my last dream we were walking around Rolley Lake, and I noticed there were wolves and bears picking up our scent, and I pretty much screamed at you to be quiet. I hated that one.
lol, I'm torn between staying silent when in the wild and hoping nothing I can't beat hears me, or making a ton of noise to scare things off. I prefer to be with someone else when in the wild; at least then I can follow directions and if things go shit-shaped, I can blame them :)
DeleteI would go armed and have somebody fast in my company, as well. Animals have acute hearing and sense of smell. If humans were built like that, the predatorial races would have either starved to death or been slayed a few millennia back.
DeleteUnfortunately, humans could already conquer the rest of the races, if they wanted to; not with their senses or physical abilities (or mental ones, of course) but with technology. The reason they don't eliminate the rest is because the world depends on itself for survival - one ugly bug may be exactly what a small predator eats; that small predator may eat the dead leaves off a certain type of plant; that small predator and the plants it feeds from could be the preferred food of two other kinds of creatures and various kinds of bugs ... it's all connected, and if part of the chain breaks in an area, that area could die off. It's scary how fragile life is here, but it's also incredible and kind of exhilarating :)
DeletePeople claim that if you go to a really quiet area and just listen, you can actually hear the grass growing. I've never found such a peaceful place, but I find it hard to believe - growth takes time, after all.
DeleteI've grown a lot of plants in my 25 years on the planet, and I've never heard them growing ... unless that sick sound of water being absorbed into the dirt in a planter counts? :p
DeleteI've heard my own heartbeat, though ... that's cool too :)
I hate hearing my own heartbeat. Not because it's there - but because I'm afraid of hearing it stop.
Deletelol, that's like G. not being able to sleep because he can hear himself breathing (he sleeps with the fan on so it drowns out the sound) ...
DeleteI sleep with the fan on too, sometimes...but only to drown out the heat. My breaths don't bother me so much.
DeleteAlmost nothing bothers me when I'm ready to sleep - except realizing I can't sleep. Other times, I go to bed thinking I'm tired enough, then I start worrying about things ... sleep can be a challenge. :p
DeleteThe worst nights I have are when I'm too tired to sleep. Last night I took my medicine, applied Vicks, and I slept the whole night. And then I fell asleep again. I'm doing that from now on.
DeleteYay, I'm glad you found a way to make it work! :)
DeleteMe, too! It worked again. This remedy does in-duce weird dreams, but I appreciate the med-icinal effect.
DeleteWeird dreams aren't the worst ... sometimes I appreciate them because I know I slept. I can't appreciate nightmares for the same reason ... :p
DeleteNightmares don't make for a restful night. Even if you are weird and love them.
DeleteTrue :(
