Well, I'm kind of in a funk. Turns out another game I love may be going offline. Hm, I have to wonder: If I didn't get involved, would they be online forever? Seems these companies only need to file for bankruptcy when I start playing their games.

  1. I know how you feel - that getting involved spells doom for something. I've felt that way recently - no matter which crowded zone I went to in a game, it seemed like I showed up and a lot of other people logged off or left. (I don't talk in-game, so I know it wasn't something I said!) :p

Is it that game you play on Facebook?

    1. Yes, it is; and that always happens to me, too. It really sucked on days I just wanted someone to talk to me.

    2. For sure :(

      I hope your game doesn't close :|

    3. I hope so, too. But, I'm sure the whole bank-ruptcy thing is harder on them than me.

    4. Well, I guess there's that, but they shouldn't tell people games are secure (especially the ones people pay for) when they're talking about closing them down behind players' backs; stop people getting addicted to the game if it's just going to shut down anyway. :(

    5. And the simple fix is to sell the company to someone who wants to keep the games running, and can afford to do that. I'd buy it myself if I could.

    6. Agreed, though I'm glad I don't have to be on the receiving end of unhappy players' complaints.

    7. As it turns out, the game is still available to play. Another player gave links on what to download to make it work again! :)

    8. I saw; I'm glad! :)

(You commented on it on YouTube, so I got a notification too). :D

    9. YouTube? I found the comment on Facebook. Hope I wasn't hacked. Anyway, sorry; I don't like that my friends get notified by everything I do. This must be how a celebrity feels.

    10. lol, you're right, it was Facebook - I don't know why I said 'YouTube'. That happens to me all the time; I keep saying 'white' when I mean 'yellow'!

Oh, it's not just you, I think that's just how Facebook is (it might also have something to do with the fact that I've set my friends' posts as priorities so I see them before I see other things). :)

    11. I once posted something to my atheist group, and I was horrified when I realized that all our aunts and uncles and cousins could see it. I hate that about Facebook.
