I've been playing GameCube more often lately. Okay, I actually do both the conventional and mirrored tournaments of Shrek Smash 'N Crash once a day. And some pretty weird stuff has happened. First, I got hit by a Farquaad-In-A-Box and it didn't even disappear; it stayed right there on the track. Then my frog balloon got rid of one for me.
Some other weird stuff happened, too, but I can't remember what they were right now.

Cool! I miss that game ...
ReplyDeleteI hated the creepy high-pitched laugh those Jerk-In-A-Box things gave off ... I loved the blue sparkles most, but I didn't mind the birds and frogs just because they were useful for getting other racers out of the way. :p
I adore that game way too much. To this day I still try to avoid hurting my favorite AIs because I want only my favorites on the podium.
DeleteThe game has some mistakes; it's got Fiona's castle and Mongo and Prince Charming in it, so it's obviously Shrek 2-based, but Mongo still has his gumdrop buttons. And there are other mis-takes. But I think it should have been made with a Duloc track. Snow White and Cinderella should have been included characters. And did you know that in the Far Far Away Suburbs, you can see Rapunzel's braid coming out of the tower?
I know you can in the movie; I haven't played the game in years ...
DeleteI know. I meant in the game.
DeleteAh, well, unfortunately I don't remember that ... I'm thinking next time we play you'll kick my butt right off, lol
DeleteMaybe, but in all fairness, long as you're not an AI it's impossible not to win. It's a pretty easy game. Funny thing is, when Lorne tried to play, he lost so miserably. ^^
DeleteSo did we, at first ... we were always last - the only reason one of us ever got fifth place was because we couldn't both be sixth :p
Delete"True dat."
DeleteSome other weird stuff happened yesterday and tonight: First, an orange pumpkin thing was on the track of the swamp, but it was on the first lap and it was nowhere near a place it could have fallen to the ground. Then, a Farquaad-in-a-Box disappeared for no reason - nobody went through it. And in the same tournament as both of those events, Dragon actually launched herself high and far before I could press the jump key. She actually skimmed the treetops.
Awesome! Sounds like a dream became reality! :D
