The Serial Series

Well, I had a lousy night. First I dreamed that my current house had two floors, and was on a farmland, and this guy drove by our window pointing a gun at me. I wake up, realize I'm wake, and fall blissfully back into sleep - and dream the same guy points the same gun through the windshield.
In both dreams there were sirens. In the first dream he shot me through each kidney, then killed all my loved ones and made me watch while I died a slow, painful, bloody death. In the second dream I recognized him as the bad guy from my first dream.
Honestly, I'm hesitant to go anywhere now. Especially when I hear sirens. I'm fine watching scary movies before bed, but last night I went out for a late drive and I was totally freaked out. You probably think it's silly to be afraid because I had a dream, but I actually have a history of my dreams coming true.
Unfortunately I haven't become a millionaire or discovered I could fly.
      Yet.

  1. I didn't sleep well the night before last, but I did have one very cool dream that I was in a world of snow (Alaska, I'm pretty sure, because some of the people from Alaskan Bush People were there) running around and sliding on the ice ... and there was a very glittery pink birthday cake, too, which seemed pretty random ...

I've had dreams come true, too - luckily, my latest nightmares have not. I know how it feels to be afraid to go anywhere, but I also know how it feels to be afraid to stay home, because I've had two dreams this year about sinkholes, and I'm afraid there's one under me ... :s

    1. I suppose that would be scary; but I think I'd prefer sinkhole dreams over gunman dreams.
I do look forward to the next dream where I'm sitting on a mountain of money. I'm also dreading it, because those dreams never come true, and it's such a disappointment to wake up.

    2. I prefer not to dream, sometimes ... I almost like the dreams in which I can fly, but I'm always trying to get away from something chasing me, and I usually crash in those dreams ... :p

I guess some people would say these things are a reflection of my feelings during the day ... but I say my brain just likes to make me think 'Why in the world did I dream that?' :D

    3. I have this recurring dream where a friend I met online (but never really met) and I get out of his car and walk through the downtown area, but realize we're being chased.
But most of the time you're the one in my dreams. Some of them are horrifying, or just weird as shit, like when we're sitting inside the mouth of a massive rhino waiting for the wild animals to pass by.

    4. lol, I wonder if that has anything to do with that old Dragon Tales episode when the kids end up in the mouth (and then the stomach) of a Dragonosaurus ... haha, maybe not :p

    5. I have nooo idea which episode you're talking about. I guess I have to research it, see if it's online. (Yes, I still watch kiddie shows...)

    6. I still watch them, too - Arthur, Dragon Tales, Sagwa, Totally Spies, Clifford - and the episode is called "To Do or Not to Do", if you're interested ... :D

    7. Thanks, I'll watch it later. I would do it now, but we're packing up my room today. The walls are bare, the closets are packed, my drawers are empty. It doesn't feel like my room anymore.

    8. Aww :( Well, at least it's not a new feeling, eh? Been through it so many times before ...

Better to watch cartoons when no one else is around, anyway :p

    9. I finally remembered to look it up. Now that I'm older, it's not as entertaining. But I still rem-ember when I wanted a dragon badge of my own.

    10. Me, too - but I would have gladly just had a tail, or the ability to fly ... :D

    11. I'd like the ability to fly! I think having a tail would be a nuisance. If I didn't step on it, some-body else would, and I'd have to lift it out of the way when I'm relieving myself, and I'd sit on it all the time...Not to mention I'd be the weird human with the tail.

    12. But I could live with the consequences of choos-ing to have millions...

    13. I've always wanted one...but yeah, I guess it would get in the way, before I got used to it :p

    14. I guess my biggest fear would be someone pulling it.

    15. When I got my ears pierced, my biggest fear was that someone would grab my new earrings and yank, probably because my ears already hurt pretty badly :p

Of course, no one did, and I've gotten over that one :p

    16. I have this recurring fear of somebody clapping next to my ears. Sometimes I can hear it con-stantly in a quiet room. Sometimes Lorne does it, and laughs about it until I get dizzy. Then he's all apologetic until the next time.

    17. Maybe you could buy some ear plugs you can put in whenever he starts it...? He'd get the hint, I think...

It was worse (for me) when he'd sneak up behind you, dig those skinny fingers into your ribs, and make that loud "kkkkk" sound - never know which is worse, the noise or the tickle... :p

    18. He still tickles sometimes, but he doesn't sneak up from behind or make that nightmarish noise anymore.

    19. lol, well, that's good I guess, I think he did it last time I visited :p

    20. He can be immature sometimes. Well, a lot. But I probably shouldn't talk.
